Allison Brooks Janney (born April 14th, 1970) is an American actor. The actress from the United States is known for her roles on both screen and the stage. Allison Janney was a regional actor for more than a quarter of a century before her fame was established for her role as White House Press secretary C.J. Gregg in the wildly popular and acclaimed television drama The West Wing (NBC 1999-2006). Allison Janney was always a late to the party. The permit to drive was not given until 17, one year after most classmates from Ohio. She didn't go on her first date until she was enrolled in the university. Even though she auditioned as young as 23 years old, she was only on the screen until her late 30s. Faris was a divorcee from Mom in the year 2020 has chosen to be very selective in her role choices. She has mainly appeared in animated films, with the sole exception of 2022's The Estate. Faris has told PEOPLE specifically she was not making this her decision. Anna Faris quit her CBS sitcom Mom prior to its eighth season and its final one. Faris initially said she was leaving to pursue different opportunities. However, now she is revealing more details about why she decided to stop acting. The actress says that it was not an unintentional choice. Janney is a regular character on the show and has worn a full wig. Fallon said: "I told Fallon that she was wearing her costume since season one, however, no one knew of it. Now, everyone knows." Janney intends to take the wig as a memento. In the first season the report stated that she earned around $125,000 for each episode. It is estimated that in the third or fourth season however that Faris and her partner Allison Janey were earning $200,000 per episode.
